Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene of a house fire near the Ashling Hotel in Dublin city on Wednesday morning.
The small residential property is located directly beside the Ashling Hotel on Parkgate Street.
The alarm was raised at around 9.15am on Wednesday when passers-by noticed the building was on fire.

Numerous units of Dublin Fire Brigade and gardaí responded to the scene.
The fire was quickly brought under control and the area secured for the public having been briefly closed off by gardaí.
Pictures from the scene show firefighters and gardaí entering the building to deal with the blaze and assess the cause.
Gardaí have said "no further information" is available at this time.
