Emergency services rushed to a multi-vehicle crash in Falkirk earlier.
Three cars were involved in the accident on New Hallglen Road in Hallglen and a number of mercy crews attended.
Pictures sent to Falkirk Live showed three ambulances and a number of cops at the scene with the front of all cars badly damaged.
The road remains closed in both directions and motorists are advised to take an alternative route while an investigation takes place.
It is not known if anyone has been injured at this stage.
Police Scotland confirmed that they attended, but had nothing further to add.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
