Emergency services have raced to a serious road crash in Ayr.
Fire crews are currently at the scene on Hillfoot Road.
The crash has closed off the busy main street between Forehill Road and Masonhill Road.
Ambulances and police are also on the scene with eyewitnesses describing a serious incident ongoing.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
