Emergency services have raced to a head-on smash on a busy Kilmarnock road this evening.
Glasgow Road is partially blocked after two cars appear to have crashed near Jungle Madness soft play and the junction with Dean Road.
One ambulance is currently at the scene and traffic appears to be coping well.
One eye-witness said: "It looks like a really nasty smash and I hope nobody was seriously injured.
"One ambulance was at the roadside and looked like it was treating people or checking them over."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6pm on Saturday, April 1, to a report of a two car crash on Beansburn, Kilmarnock.
“Emergency services are in attendance.”
