Emergency services called to multi-vehicle collision involving bus in North Belfast

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a bus and three vehicles in North Belfast on Saturday morning.

The collision happened on the Cliftonville Road shortly before 7:25am and there were no reports of any serious injuries.

Footage circulating on social media appears to show a number of vehicles which were badly damaged in the crash.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a four vehicle road traffic collision at the Cliftonville Road area of north Belfast shortly before 7:25am on Saturday 27 th May.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries."

A Translink spokesperson added: "We can confirm an incident occurred involving a Metro bus on the Cliftonville Road around 7:30am this morning (27/05/23). There were no reported injuries at the scene.

“A Translink investigation is underway, and we will also assist the PSNI with their investigations into the incident."
