Emergency services called to high rise fire in Nottingham city centre

Emergency services were called to a high rise fire in Nottingham city centre. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was deployed to Curzon Street, St Ann's after a fire was reported in a high-rise building on the street at 7.19pm on Monday, March 6.

Two fire engines and an aerial platform were sent to the fire, with it being extinguished as of 8.30pm. No injuries were reported and no ambulance was needed at the scene, but a witness spotted police vehicles at the scene.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call to Curzon Street at 7.19pm tonight. We did have two appliances there and an aerial ladder platform at a high rise fire. We have received a stop message now, so everything is under control and no injuries were reported and no ambulance was required."
