Emergency services called to car fire that spread to Clifton home

Firefighters have been called to a car fire that spread to a Nottingham home. Fire crews were called to Rivergreen, Clifton on Sunday, February 19, evening.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was still dealing with the fire as of 7.20pm, with two appliances deployed to tackle the blaze. Pictures show damage has been caused to the front of the property affected and significant damage to the vehicle involved, with police officers also at the scene.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We received calls that there was a vehicle on fire in front of a house that started to slightly spread. There are two appliances in attendance." Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it could not provide further detail as the incident was still ongoing.
