Emergency services were called out to Sunderland after a second three-vehicle collision in the region on Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the incident on the A19 northbound near Sunderland, close to the Herrington and Doxford Park interchange. One lane was blocked, but no-one is believed to be seriously injured.
It is the second three car collision to take place in the region on Wednesday morning, with the other occurring on the A1 southbound near Team Valley, where one person was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "At 8.50am today, we received a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A19 northbound, just after the junction with the A690 at Herrington Interchange in Sunderland.
"Emergency services are in attendance and one lane is currently partially blocked. No-one is believed to have been seriously injured."
The North East Ambulance Service was approached for comment and confirmed its teams were not called out.
