Emeli Sandé and Groove Armada among Fulham Palace headliners

Emeli Sandé and Groove Armada are among the acts signed up for a series of concerts at Fulham Palace.

The grounds of the historic house, formerly home to the Bishops of London, will be transformed across two weekends in May and July.

Ministry of Sound Classical will bring a 32-piece orchestra to the venue on Saturday May 27 followed the next day by a Groove Armada DJ set, while synth pioneers Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark will play in July along with Ladytron, Blancmange and New Romantic DJ Rusty Egan and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.

BRIT award winner Sandé, who will headline on July 29, said: “I’m delighted to be playing a special show as part of the Live At The Palace series at the gorgeous Fulham Palace this July. It’s a real honour to be joined for this show by two amazing artists Lady Blackbird and Sinéad Harnett! It’s going to be a wonderful evening of music in a beautiful setting and I really hope you can join us there!”

Rob Hallett, CEO of promoters Robomagic, said: “After a 6 year hiatus we are delighted to bring live music back to Fulham Palace with a diverse line up to appeal to all tastes. On the banks of the river in the heart of London Live at The Palace is set to become a staple of the London music scene for many years to come.”
