Sir Elton John recently headlined Glastonbury Festival, but many of his fans were left concerned for his health.
In recent years, the legendary musician has been open about his health struggles which has seen him rushed into hospital and caught in a wheelchair.
Now, the I'm Still Standing singer, 76, walked out onto the stage at Glastonbury and appeared to be limping before his headline set which sent fans wild.
Sir Elton, who announced that it may be his last UK performance kicked his set off with his track Pinball Wizard, which he hadn't performed in almost a decade.
But minutes into his set, fans took to social media to voice their concerns for the rock legend, with one writing: "Elton looked like he was struggling walking out then?! Great intro song tho #EltonJohn #Glastonbury #glastonbury2023."
"He can barely walk #glastonbury2023," commented a second.
While a third added: "#EltonJohn has certainly still got it (even if he can’t walk to well anymore) #glastonbury2023."
"Brilliant from Elton John but why does he walk like he’s got his legs on the wrong way," tweeted another.
A fifth fan penned: "Elton John and the band are magnificent. Elton may struggle a bit to walk but he has everyone else at Glastonbury jumping around. What a catalogue of songs and if this is his last UK gig then he is going out at the top of his game."
Last year, Elton sparked concern after he was seen arriving at Leipzig airport in a wheelchair, just days before his virtual performance for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
But in a bid to silence speculation, he took to Instagram and said: "I want to thank all my fans for reaching out to ask about my health after the tabloids ran a silly story about my 'looking frail' in a wheelchair.
"The true story is that I'm in top health, loving my shows and playing and singing at my very best."
He claimed that there was a simple reason for him using the wheelchair and that his health had declined.
Dad-of-two Elton added: "After another rousing 2.5 hour show, we arrived at Leipzig airport just before curfew, to find part of the airport had closed.
"It was an extremely long walk to get to the plane, so my team kindly laid on a wheelchair so I could rest my hip after doing the show, that's all folks."
In 2021, he announced that he would be postponing part of his Farewell tour following an "awkward fall" which required surgery.
Just one year prior, he was forced to halt a performance in New Zealand after contracting walking pneumonia.
