A Christmas light show has transformed Eltham Palace’s grounds into an enchanted forest, complete with holographic birds and a talking tree.
The Art Deco mansion in south east London has been lit up as part of English Heritage’s Enchanted Eltham event, which runs until Sunday December 9. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the gardens after dark.
A winter trail leads families through illuminated tunnels and pathways to a light maze. Along the route, visitors encounter projections, music and fountains, as well as an installation by artist Aowen Jin and the gardens’ ancient moat.
Guests can also enjoy fairgrounds such as children's swing chairs and a miniature carousel.
It promises to be one of the most enchanting Christmas light displays anywhere in London this year. Book tickets here.
