Elon Musk 's ex-wife has revealed that the Twitter owner "wanted to show her his rockets" after only their third date.
British actress, Talulah Riley, 37, who appeared in Hollywood blockbuster Inception in addition to both St. Trinian's films, was married to Musk on two separate occasions - from 2010 to 2012 before remarrying one year later in 2013 before divorcing once again in 2016.
The fact that the former couple married and divorce twice in the space of six years gives an insight into their interesting relationship.
Ashlee Vance, who wrote the 2015 biography 'Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future', gave a snippet of the 51-year-old Pretoria-born businessman and his former second wife's intriguing third date.
As reported by Daily Star, she wrote: "The couple had lunch the next day and then went to the White Cube, a modern art gallery, and then back to Musk’s hotel room.
"Musk told Riley, a virgin, that he wanted to show her his rockets."
Riley is claimed to have said: "I was sceptical, but he did actually show me rocket videos. Once."
The billionaire entrepreneur dramatically fired senior executives at Twitter just moments after completing his $44 billion (£37.9 billion) purchase of the social media platform last month.
Since his buyout on October 28, Musk has been a controversial figure where he has let former US President Donald Trump return to Twitter after being banned, announced plans to charge blue tick users $7.99 (£7) a month, reportedly laid off half of the company's staff worldwide and claimed Apple threatened to remove Twitter from the App Store.
During an interview with Spanish news outlet El Pais, Vance is thought to have said that Musk is "pretty stressed out" following his Twitter buyout and that it is "standard operating procedure to have a business in chaos".
Vance also claimed that the world's richest man will be nonplussed about how successful his uber-expensive deal will be.
She said: "The other thing I would say is if this just doesn’t work and Twitter totally collapses and his entire $40billion-plus is wiped out, I don’t think he would be okay with it, but he’s probably the only person whose life wouldn’t be destroyed.
"I think he’s willing to take this risk and can live with the results either way. Some of this he’s brought on himself, with things that he says in tweets.
"But people have to understand, most of the time he’s trolling just to sit back to stir the pot."
