Elon Musk has received a flurry of Nazi-related posts on X in response to a controversial gesture he made during Donald Trump's inauguration event, leading to the billionaire lashing out and blaming the algorithm of his platform.

On Jan. 20 during Trump's inauguration event, Elon Musk made two hand gestures that some have compared to Nazi salutes, sparking a social media uproar.

The gestures, where Musk placed his hand on his chest and extended it outward, were heavily criticized, particularly after far-right groups shared it online, labeling it a "white power moment."

Musk has since dismissed the accusations, calling them "dirty tricks" and accusing critics of perpetuating biased narratives.

Despite denials, social media users have not deterred from mocking Musk online for his actions, causing many to flood his feed with references to Nazi salutes.

In a series of tweets, Musk voiced his displeasure, humorously blaming the algorithm and mocking his critics.

"If I see one more damn Nazi salute in my feed, I'm gonna lose my mind ... This algorithm sucks," Musk wrote, followed up with, "The recommendation algorithm on this platform sucks! I want to talk to the manager right now!!"

In response, social media users have mocked him further, taking jabs at Musk, labeling him a "Karen."

"We're already on it@elonmusk ... You can join us $KAREN ... #NFTS coming soon," one user wrote.

Meanwhile, a few others made AI or photoshopped "Karen" versions of Musk in response.

As the story unfolds, Musk is likely to face continued scrutiny over both his actions and his platform's algorithm.
