Elon Musk has compared Santa to an ancient Roman dictator in one of his latest viral tweets.
The Tesla CEO shared a comparison between Father Christmas and Lucius Cornelius Sulla last night with his 66 million Twitter followers.
Sulla won the first full-scale civil war in Roman history and then went on to become a dictator during the Roman Republic’s last century, according to Britannica.
So how is a benevolent magical being comparable to such a dictator, you ask?
Well, according to Musk they both have lists, they both check it twice, they both know who’s been naughty or nice, oh and - they’re coming to town.

His followers clearly enjoyed the meme as it racked up over 108,000 likes within 18 hours.
Responding to the post, Twitter account Millions asked what everyone was thinking when they wrote: “When will you develop the electric powered sleigh for Santa?”
But that wasn’t all that cracked up Musk’s followers this weekend.
Musk - who previously went viral a few days ago for saying he’s considering becoming a full-time influencer - shared another couple of jokes this afternoon.
Poking fun at Finland’s prime minister reportedly going clubbing until 4am after coming into close contact with someone with Covid, he tweeted:

And perhaps the silliest joke of all:

Say what you want, but there’s no denying his dad jokes can raise a smile.
