Elliott Wright reveals new plans for restaurant as he rebuilds it after fire tragedy

Elliott Wright is keeping his head held high.

The Towie star's restaurant in Marbella, Spain, was gutted by a fire early last week, leaving the hotspot a smouldering ruin.

But Elliott is already back at work rebuilding, vowing he'll have it back up a running in time for the summer's flood of tourists.

Today marks the final day of rubble clear up, with Elliott trying to stay positive despite a few setbacks.

"It's difficult to be positive all the time," he told his Instagram followers all the time, "Been a few issues today. One of the roofs needs to come down, that'll put me back a week, which is obviously very upsetting but we're all pushing on."

He added that he's been having a "bad day" but that he's "trying to stay positive."

Chatting to construction workers, Elliott asks them: "What're we discussing? The tank?

"We gonna try and do it or what on the water feature?"

"It's getting built today," one of them tells him.

"Yooo," Elliott chants in celebration.

Elliott had displayed the extent of the damage in bodycam footage.

The incident came just weeks after his dad died from Covid-19, aged 66.

"So probably one of my worst videos I've ever made," he told followers, "My beautiful restaurant, my dream that I always dreamt of having, that I built six years ago, that was still work in progress, has been completely destroyed, absolutely destroyed."

He added: "Devastated. And I can say now that it is arson. Someone's come and took my whole dream away, for whatever reason I'll never know, because I don't have any enemies as far as I'm aware, I didn't think I did.

"Whether it's jealousy or competition, it doesn't really matter."

Elliot vowed the restaurant would return even better, continuing: "All that really matters is that I'm gonna rebuild it, and rise like a phoenix out of the ashes and rebuild my dream because I don't deserve this, my family don't deserve this, my children don't deserve this, it's not fair.

"I haven't ever caused any problems. I don't know why it's been done to me, the police are investigating and they will get over it and please God they catch them because whoever's done it is a scumbag."
