Fans of Gogglebox were relieved to hear that Nat Eddleston seemed to be recovering well after a horror crash.
He made a rare "appearance" on the Channel 4 show in the form of a phone call, as his partner Ellie Warner quizzed him about getting married. Ellie thanked fans earlier today for their support as she said "things are getting back to normal" and confirmed her and sister, Izzi, would be back on the Friday night programme tonight.
They had been absent following reports that Nat was hospitalised after a "devastating" car accident. He was allegedly involved in a hit and run while walking back from his local pub in March. He was said to be living hour by hour in intensive care with a broken neck and collapsed lungs.

But tonight, as the women made their return to the show, Nat seemed to be recovering well as viewers heard his voice for the first time since before the accident. Ellie explained to her sister Izzi that her partner wanted a shotgun wedding. She thought he meant he wanted her to get pregnant before they tied the knot.
She decided to phone her partner to clarify what he meant. Speaking on the phone, Ellie asked: "What did you think that a shotgun wedding meant?"
He replied: "That you're forced to get married." Izzi burst into laughter. Ellie said: "Do you know why though?" He said: "Because you got someone pregnant?"
Ellie asked: "So does that mean that you're going to get me pregnant?" He said: "No" and she laughed before hanging up on him.
Fans were delighted to hear him doing well. They took to Twitter to continue to show their support for the family.
Gabby said: "Ah Nat's on the phone, great to hear #gogglebox". Carl said: "Nat is recovering @ellieandizzi. #Gogglebox."
