Ellie Goulding changing face - expert reveals just how pop princess' look has evolved

Stunner Ellie Goulding burst onto the pop scene nearly ten years ago after being discovered by her now manager Jamie Lillywhite.

Debut album Light stunned audiences and firmly made her a fixture on the UK pop circuit.

As Ellie's sound evolved so did her look, we have asked our resident expert to take a glance at the pop star's changing inage.

A spokesperson for MYA Cosmetic Surgery said: "I would suggest that Ellie started to have non-surgical lip fillers a few years ago to create a fuller yet natural lip shape when smiling. However, recent images suggest she has since had multiple treatments to plump her lips, creating a more unnatural look, where the cupid's bow of the upper lip disappears.

"Extreme “overfilling” of the lip area with filler can sometimes limit blood flow to certain areas which could ultimately cause necrosis. It is crucial that you find a board-certified injector who is willing to discuss the risks and set realistic expectations.

"The average cost of lip fillers in the UK can range depending on the provider and the amount of filler used. However, you can expect to pay anything from £200 - £1000 per treatment.

"It is possible Ellie has had jawline and chin contouring with non-surgical dermal fillers. This treatment creates a more defined and slimming look to the chin and jawline and can cost around £150 to £300 per session, depending on the amount of product used.

"Weight loss can also affect a similar change of the face shape, but fillers will help create specific definition in this area. I would also suggest she has had the non-surgical treatment of dermal fillers to her cheeks.

"Fillers give volume to the cheek area and this is achieved by injecting dermal fillers along the contour of the cheekbone to create more definition. This treatment can typically cost in the region of £200-£500 per session depending on the amount of product used."
