Tributes have continued to mount outside the pub where Elle Edwards was shot dead as her friends remember her for having an "infectious laugh".
Elle, 26, was enjoying a night out with friends when she was fatally shot in the head at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve. Merseyside Police said the 26-year-old is not believed to have been the intended target of the attack.
Police and forensics remain at the scene today (Wednesday) as the murder investigation enters its fourth day. A Gofundme page set up to support Elle's family has raised over £14,000 in less than 24 hours.

A message on the page said: "Elle Marlene Edwards. You will always be with us, your bright smile and your infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
"Due to the devastating incident that occurred on Christmas Eve, which resulted in the tragic loss of our beautiful Elle May, I would like to help raise money for our family during these difficult times."
A sea of tributes have been left outside the Lighthouse pub, where more people laid flowers this Wednesday. One tribute read: "Our beautiful Elle you were radiant, an angel. Such a lovely girl taken too soon. We love you. RIP."
Another said: "Beautiful Elle. I can't comprehend that this has happened to you. You were so young, beautiful, with your whole life ahead of you. I can't get you and memories of the good times we had out of my mind. Heaven truly has gained the most beautiful angel. Until we meet again."
Two people were arrested on Boxing Day in connection with Elle's murder. A 30-year-old man from Tranmere was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, while a 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
In an update this morning, December 28, Merseyside Police said both suspects remain in police custody following their arrests.
Four men were also injured in the shooting, including a 28-year-old man from Beechwood, Wirral. The man is no longer in critical condition but is continuing to receive medical treatment.
A 22-year-old man also suffered an injury to his legs, a 24-year-old man sustained an injury to his hand and a 33-year-old man suffered an injury to his wrist. Police said the attacker drove off in a dark car believed to be an A-Class Mercedes, driven by a male driver.
Chief Constable Serena Kennedy vowed her officers would be "relentless" in bringing those responsible for Elle Edwards' murder to justice, as well as piling the pressure on to organised criminals in Wirral.
Chief Constable Kennedy said: "We are absolutely committed to finding those responsible for the callous and cold-blooded murder of 26-year-old Elle on Christmas Eve and our hearts go out to Elle’s family and friends.
"Elle was doing what any member of the community should be able to do on Christmas Eve – simply enjoying herself with friends and her sister and celebrating the festivities. As a mum of two girls, who are a similar age to Elle, I can’t begin to comprehend what they are going through right now, but I do know that they will carry the heavy loss of Elle for the rest of their lives and there will always be a major part of their lives missing.
"Detectives are continuing their investigations and they will be relentless in their work to establish what led up to the incident on Christmas Eve and who was responsible for this sickening and heart-breaking incident, which has ruined so many lives and culminated in the loss of a beautiful young woman."
