The family of Elle Edwards wore a touching tribute to the funeral.
Elle's dad Tim Edwards and family, including her nan and grandad, all wore a purple pin as they gathered to lay the 26-year-old to rest at St Nicholas Church. The purple pin appears to show two letter 'E' back to back to form a set of wings.
While the meaning of the pin has not yet been confirmed by Elle's family, it is believed to be linked to a foundation being started in the beautician's name.

Tim Edwards has previously said that he is determined to see something "positive" come out of her death. He said that starting a foundation in her name could help reduce gun violence. He said: "There's no winners with gun crime.
"If you pick up a gun, your future is over and everybody else's future around you is over. It's dead simple. It's absolutely pointless and it solves nothing. I want to see a positive that comes out of this. Elle's name will be used for good in the future. She can't be forgotten."

The idea of turning Elle's murder into something "positive" and "good" was echoed in the homily, read by Reverend Jeff Staples during the funeral. He said: "I know Tim has said that he wants to work for good - to find a way to break this circle of violence that wants to destroy everything we hold dear.
"I pray that the good Tim wants to do bears great fruit - and this is the way of hope- the way of saying the darkness of evil will not extinguish the light of goodness."
