Elizabeth Olsen has joined the cast of thriller 'Panic Carefully'.
The 35-year-old actress is set to appear alongside Julia Roberts in the Warner Bros. movie, which will be directed and written by Sam Esmail.
According to Deadline, precise plot details are yet to be revealed, but the film has been described as a "paranoid thriller".
It is also expected to be in a similar vein to Esmail-created thriller TV series 'Mr. Robot', which stars Rami Malek.
Esmail will also produce the film alongside Chad Hamilton, Scott Stuber, Roberts, Marisa Yeres Gill, and Lisa Gillan
Warner Bros. triumphed in a "heating bidding war" for the motion picture, which will see the helmer reunite with Roberts.
He directed the Hollywood star in Netflix psychological thriller movie 'Leave the World Behind', which was released last year and also featured Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, and Myha'la.
Olsen recently starred in Netflix drama 'His Three Daughters', and she portrayed axe murderer Candy Montgomery in miniseries 'Love and Death'.
What's more, she reprised her role of Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, in Disney+'s 'WandaVision'.
Olsen has played the character in several Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, from 2015’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ to ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ in 2022, and recently said she thinks of Marvel movies as an "insurance" for her indie projects.
Speaking at Vulture Festival, the actress said: “I’d never really had the mentality of, ‘One for them, one for me.’
“Marvel has been such a consistent thing I’ve been able to return to and has created - what’s the word? - some feeling of insurance in my life that has given me freedom to choose other jobs. So I haven’t felt like, ‘And then I’ll do this to do this.’ "
