Actress Elizabeth Olsen gave fans a look at her new engagement ring - and it’s not the typical diamond dazzler. Instead, the 30-year-old actress opted for an enormous piece of emerald bling.
The Avengers star is engaged to musician Robbie Arnett, who fronts the indie band Milo Greene. She previously dated Tom Hiddleston and was once engaged to Narcos actor Boyd Holbrook.
The Olsen sister was photographed showing off her ring at San Diego’s Comic-Con, which appears to be an emerald surrounded by diamonds.
While she wore it on her right hand during Comic-Con, she switched the square-cut emerald to her wedding ring finger while running errands later in the week.
Her ring is reminiscent of the Time Stone, the emerald featured in the Avengers film that she stars in.
The couple's first red carpet moment was in September 2017 at a pre-Emmys party in Los Angeles. They were reported to be dating in March of the same year, after meeting while on vacation in Mexico.
She’s the latest star to go with color instead of a regular old diamond. Her Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson opted for a brown diamond and Katy Perry wears a ruby red engagement ring from Orlando Bloom.
Elizabeth isn't the only Olsen to have an unusual piece of bling. Her older sister Mary-Kate has a vintage Cartier ring with blue sapphires - perhaps that was her inspiration.
