Planned strikes by train drivers on London's Elizabeth Line on Thursday and Saturday have been called off following a new pay offer, Aslef announced.
Members of Aslef on the network had been due to walk out on Thursday and again on Saturday and March 8 and 10 in a dispute over pay.
Aslefs executive committee will meet to consider the offer on Wednesday, the union said.
It is not clear whether the strikes in March will still go ahead.
Aslef embers previously voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action.
The action was set to cause major disruption, with Transport for London (TfL) warning of a significantly reduced service.
