Elite transfer WR target commits to Alabama over Georgia

Former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver transfer target Isaiah Horton has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Former Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Isaiah Horton committed to the Crimson Tide over Georgia and other schools. The transfer news was first reported by On3’s social media account.

During his three seasons with the Hurricanes, Horton appeared in 29 games, recording 70 receptions for 790 yards and six touchdowns. His breakout season came in 2024, when he caught 56 passes for 616 yards and five touchdowns as part of one of the nation’s top offenses.

Horton was a highly regarded four-star prospect coming out of high school. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 205 pounds, he was ranked as the nation’s No. 337 overall player and No. 54 wide receiver in the On3 Industry Ranking, which averages ratings from all four major recruiting services. He also ranked as the No. 12 player in Tennessee.

Horton has two seasons of eligibility remaining. His pledge to Alabama helps with their losses of wide receivers Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice, who left via the transfer portal.

Georgia football continues to hunt for a wide receiver commitment in the transfer portal.
