Elias Melkersen seeks Hibs impact as he aims to bounce back from 'mentally tough' injury spell

Elias Melkersen he wants to fire Hibs into the World Cup break on a high after a spell out with injury.

“One of the toughest things in football is to watch games from the sidelines when you are injured, knowing you can make a difference but you can’t contribute. It's mentally tough for anyone.

"I think I am coming with energy to help the team but the most important thing is to win the game. We need to get back to winning again.

“We have recovered from the last game (v Ross County) now we are looking forward to what is going to be a tough challenge against a physical team on astro.

“Every team in this league is difficult to play against, so we just need to have the focus and determination to win the game. We need to get back to winning ways before the World Cup break starts."
