There are plenty of Christmas films to enjoy over the festive period.
But for many - kids and adults alike - a firm favourite is the Will Ferrell Christmas classic Elf. The film, which was released all the way back in 2003, stars Farrell as Buddy the Elf - a human who was raised in the North Pole by Santa's elves.
It sees Buddy travel to New York where he meets his long-lost father who has managed to find his way onto Santa's naughty list.

Directed by Jon Favreau, who makes a cameo as a doctor in the film, it also stars James Caan, Zooey Deschanel and Mary Steenburgen.
