Mumbai: Days after the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) announced 85 seats each for Cong, NCP (Sharad Pawar) and Shiv Sena (UBT), Maharashtra Samajwadi Party President Abu Azmi on Friday met NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and sought five seats in the Maharashtra polls.
Abu Azmi met Sharad Pawar and held discussion over seat-sharing arrangements.

Azmi has also issued an ultimatum stating that if the party's demands are not met by Saturday afternoon, the party would field its candidates on 25 seats.

Addressing a press conference, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said that Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) & NCP (Shara Pawar) would contest 85 seats each in Maharashtra polls.
Shiv Sena's Anil Desai said: "Remaining seats will be given to small friendly parties after some discussion." "Whatever remains will be divided among us," he added.
Elections on Nov 20
The state will go to polls for the 288-member assembly in one phase on November 20 while the outcome of the elections will be announced on November 23.
