An elderly woman died from her injuries after she was hit by a bus in Hackney.
The 85-year-old was rushed to a hospital after the collision, just before 5.10pm Last Thursday, but she died there four days later.
Her next of kin have been informed but she has not yet been publicly identified.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for witnesses and information.
The crash happened near the Tesco store in Morning Lane.

This is not the only recent incident involving a London bus.
An electric double-decker burst into flames in Wimbledon during rush hour on Thursday morning.
Roads were closed “for some time” but “there were no reported injuries”.
Shocked witnesses described their fear after seeing the dramatic fire.
One resident, Max Pashley, told CityAM: “We heard a huge bang. We were terrified.”
Transport for London said it is working with the operator, London General, and the bus manufacturer, Switch, to investigate what happened.
