Staff at a local supermarket have gone above and beyond for an elderly customer this week.
Upon visiting the Aldi store in Halewood, the shelves were "bare" and an elderly man was unable to get the shopping he needed.
But when the delivery came later that evening, the staff on shift went out of their way to make sure he had everything he may need.

Taking to social media, Aldi UK shared the heart-warming moment on Random Acts of Kindness Day, February 17.
Hundreds of comments came pouring in from people across the UK about the "lovely" gesture and how their local Aldi store also helps those in need.
Sharing the post in local Halewood Facebook pages, locals were quick to praise the staff.
One person said they are "all lovely at the Halewood branch".
Another added: "Way to go girls, you all do our Aldi proud and yourselves."
A third wrote: "Not all heroes wear capes".
Some residents were "not surprised" as the "staff are always lovely".
Taking to social media, Aldi UK wrote: "When times were tough, the team at our Halewood store went out their way for one elderly man.
"On his first visit, the shelves were bare. So as soon the delivery came in later that night, the team made sure he had everything he might need. And when they got to the till, they covered the whole bill too.
"This is exactly what #RandomActsOfKindnessDay is all about – we’re so proud to have you on Team Aldi."
