Elden Ring Player One-Shots Shadow of the Erdtree Final Boss To Skip Phase 2

One Elden Ring player by the name of Ainrun was able to one-shot the final boss in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC which let him skip the second phase entirely.

The content creator and Twitch streamer is an Elden Ring challenge runner and he posted the video that shows him using basically every buff in the game. These include some new ones that were introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

He then walked into the final arena and just charged up one powerful attack to instantly kill the final boss of the DLC content.

After the cutscene that marked the end of the first phase, the boss stood up for the second phase but immediately fell down once due to the damage it received previously, according to IGN.

Elden Ring players who have encountered the DLC's final boss argue that he is probably the most difficult enemy to fight in the game's expansion.

The enemy in question is Promised Consort Radahn and the fight is a rematch against one of the base game's bosses.

The game's subreddit is also full of people who are complaining about the final boss' punishing attack patterns.

This is something that is even more devastating when Phase 2 starts when Miquella pops up onto his head and infuses his attacks with a distracting golden light show.

Stacking Up Enough Buffs

In his stream, Ainrun's character chugs Wondrous Physick and then consumes various items such as the Bloodboil Aromatic and uses skills such as Rallying Standard and Seppuku.

When he enters the final boss' arena, he uses the Royal Knight's Resolve Ash of War to charge an attack, said GamesRadar.

That devastating blow immediately dealt 93,000 damage and removed Radahn's entire health bar. But even for players who are not too keen on using a sword, this particular achievement can still be done in other ways.

This could be seen with YouTube content creator Titus Actual demonstrating how to take out the final boss in one hit using the Ancient Dragons' Lightning Strike incantation. This similarly requires a massive amount of buffs and preparation to execute.

The feat that Ainrun and some other expert players have done is by no means easy as Radahn has a large health pool of 46,134.

He is also resistant to nearly every damage type and has a lethal moveset with deadly combos and narrow counter-attack windows, according to WindowsCentral.
