El Chapo's Illegitimate Daughter Rosa Isela Guzmán's Heartfelt Plea to her Brothers Los Chapitos

Amid rising violence in the capital of the Mexican state of Sinaloa, Rosa Isela Guzmán Ortiz, the alleged daughter of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, has made a public plea to her brothers Los Chapitos, urging them to halt their dangerous infighting within the Cartel.

With cartel clashes intensifying in Sinaloa following the capture of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, Guzmán used her platform to address the chaos that has engulfed the city, calling out misinformation and demanding an end to violence that threatens innocent civilians.

Rosa Isela's message, shared briefly on her social media before being deleted, has since gone viral on platforms like X and TikTok. In the video, she expressed concern over the way rumors have spread about Los Chapitos, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by her half-brothers, Iván, Alfredo, and Joaquín Guzmán, and Ovidio Guzmán, currently detained in the United States. "People are inventing lies that Los Chapos are dragging innocent people from their homes and targeting children. Stop spreading these lies, please," she urged.

While she acknowledges the escalating tension between cartel factions in the wake of Zambada's arrest, Rosa Isela is evident in her stance: the violence must be kept away from the civilian population.

"If you want to fight, do it, but not in Culiacán where there are innocent people. If you want to kill each other, go ahead, but not here," she stated, referencing the bloodshed that has plagued the city.

The situation in Culiacán has grown increasingly dangerous, with reports of roadblocks, vehicle fires, and widespread chaos. The local government has suspended schools and canceled Independence Day celebrations due to safety concerns. Rosa Isela's words resonated as she criticized the cartels for bringing their conflicts into public spaces, endangering the lives of regular citizens.

However, her plea for peace is complicated by her personal history. Rosa Isela is not officially recognized as a daughter of El Chapo. In 2016, during an interview with The Guardian, she claimed to be his daughter and revealed that her father had funded Mexican political campaigns. This claim led to a public dispute with El Chapo's wife, Emma Coronel, who denied knowing her. Rosa Isela even offered to take a DNA test to prove her paternity, insisting she has documentation proving her lineage.

Despite the controversy surrounding her identity, Rosa Isela has built a public profile. She operates a business empire under the R.Guzmán brand, selling merchandise tied to her father's legacy, including clothing, beauty products, and more.

Her recent plea to Los Chapitos highlights the complex dynamics within the Guzmán family and the broader Sinaloa Cartel. As tensions continue to escalate in Culiacán, her words serve as a stark reminder of the collateral damage caused by cartel violence and the far-reaching influence of El Chapo's legacy.

The fate of Culiacán remains uncertain, but for now, Rosa Isela's message echoes through social media: "If you're going to fight, do it far from the people who have nothing to do with it." The world watches to see if Los Chapitos will heed her call.
