Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu says Dancing On Ice has made her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti stronger - despite claims of a curse.
The Love Island winner is taking part in the upcoming series of the ITV skating show, which kicks off this weekend, and ahead of the big event, she has been busy training with her professional skating partner Brendyn Hatfield. She admits training has been hard but insists it has had no effect on her relationship with her partner Davide.
However, Ekin-Su insists she's not worried about the "Love Island curse" on the programme, which has seen all the Islanders taking part in the programme split up with their respective partners in the months following the show.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, she said: "He's been very supportive. He's been making Epsom salt baths for me, making sure my body's relaxed, nice foot massages, nice back massages, nice nutritional meals. He wants me to smash it, he really does.
"It's made our relationship a lot stronger - it's really crazy. It's made us love each other more because I've got this passion. I'm doing something I love and that's really attractive for a person anyway so it's great, I'm happy I'm doing it. See you later to the curse!"
Ekin-Su previously revealed she thinks Davide will be very "jealous" - but only because he won't get a chance to go on the ice too.
Asked what her loved ones think of her stint on the show, she said: "I think my dad will be scared of me hurting myself! My friends will be supportive - they have seen me on Love Island and this is totally different.
"Davide will definitely be jealous that I’m doing this because he likes to move! It’ll be nice for him to see me skate, I think he might find that attractive - a bit of salsa music playing. I’d love for him to come and watch me rehearse."
She added: "It’s exciting for him to see me because it’s an achievement. He’s my number one supporter."
Ekin-Su thinks former Love Island star Wes Nelson would be the best person to ask for advice.
"I know Wes from Love Island did the show - he did very well! I’d quite like to speak to him really, someone who has gone the whole way," she added as she discussed some of the show's biggest past stars.
*Dancing on Ice starts Sunday 15th January at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
