An eighth suspect has denied murdering a teenager at an internet café in Liverpool city centre.
Michael Toohey died aged 18 after suffering multiple injuries in an attack outside the premises on London Road on Saturday, April 16. Eight men and a boy have since been charged with murder in connection with his death.
One of the adults, Keiron Williams, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court yesterday afternoon, Tuesday. The 28-year-old, of no fixed address pleaded not guilty to this count, as well as a second charge of manslaughter.

Seven others - 31-year-old Antony Williams, of Hillbrook Drive in Walton, 24-year-old Michael Williams, of Carlake Grove, 21-year-old Callum Hewell, of Stratton Road, 19-year-old Jack Knox, of Oakdale Close, 25-year-old David Shelley, of Chiltern Drive, 25-year-old Matthew Wynn, of Masslawn Road and a 14-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons - all denied murder and manslaughter while appearing on Monday, October 10. Thirty-three-year-old Steven McInerney, of no fixed address, is expected to enter pleas at a later day.
A trial is expected to begin back at the same court on Monday, November 14. Six others were previously held as part of the investigation into the teen's death.
Three men - aged 19, 27 and 54 - and a 34-year-old woman were detained on suspicion of assisting an offender but subsequently bailed. A 14-year-old and 15-year-old were also released under investigation.
