Eight of the best 'bring your own bottle' restaurants in Northern Ireland

Going out for a meal and buying alcoholic drinks can really rack up the price of your bill.

For those who want to go out and enjoy a drink or two but save a few pounds - this is for you.

There are a number of restaurants across Northern Ireland offering a 'bring your own bottle' option.

Here is a list of eight for you to try.

Hope Street

Situated at 4-5 Hope Street in Belfast city centre.

They say: "We currently do not have a licence to sell alcohol so encourage you to bring your own wine and beer.

"Note: Spirits, mixers and soft drinks, juices excluded from BYOB policy."

Belvedere Café

Located in East Belfast.

They say: "We are a popular family friendly café during the day and BYO restaurant, right in the heart of Belfast’s bustling Cregagh Road.

"Late nights Friday and Saturday!"

Cinnamon

Indian cuisine located in Dundonald.

Has a BYOB policy, as well as being fully licensed.

Alchemy

The restaurant says: "We are open for breakfast and lunch every day, except Wednesday, and are now open on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner until 9pm.

An Indian Restaurant in Bangor serving authentic Indian cuisine.

You can enjoy your favourite dishes while bringing your own alcohol, with a corkage fee required.

Macau

Offers a bring your own policy, with a recycling fee of £3 per bottle.
