You'd be surprised how many people have passed this on a daily basis but have never actually stepped foot inside.

St Augustine's Church
Situated close to the famous Derry Walls, this little neo-gothic church was built in 1872. Although, the original church is ancient, dating back to 546AD.
It also has many famous graves in the graveyard. St. Augustine’s has a history second to none and is a thriving, living church, with a faithful congregation.
TV-hit Derry Girls also recently filmed at the church.
St Columb's Hall
Located in the heart of the city centre, St Columb's Hall is located on the east side of the Derry Walls.
The Grade-A listed building was originally built by the St Columb’s Hall Total Abstinence Society as part of the Temperance movement.
It's expected that the hall will undergo major restoration work as part of the UK's Levelling Scheme.
It's hoped that the restoration of the hall will mean a focus on advancing arts, culture and heritage in the city centre.
City Factory
This is a building steeped in the city's history. Many families across the city will have a member of their family, or someone they know, that once called this their workplace.
One of the original factories in Derry during the boom of the textile industry in the 1800s, this beautiful building can be found on the corner of Queen Street and Patrick Street in the city.
Commonly known in the city by locals as ‘The City Factory’, the property is now home to many prominent businesses in the city centre.
Verbal Arts Centre
The Verbal Arts Centre is the island's only centre dedicated to literature and the language arts.
The centre publishes graphic novels and illustrated books by new and emerging writers across Ireland.
If you get the chance to pop in and see this beautiful building, then it's well worthwhile.
Rosemount Factory
Rosemount Factory is one of the later shirt factories built during the shirt-making boom in Derry.
The building is four stories tall and has a red brick design and is located at the top of Brooke Park.
Factory girls working there were known to enjoy a chat during their breaks while enjoying the view of the city and Brooke Park.
Today the factory is used for community and commercial purposes.
