Arsenal have already spent big in the summer transfer window. But their business may not yet be complete.
Five new signings have already arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the form of Gabriel Jesus, Matt Turner, Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Those deals have cost the Gunners in excess of £110million, making them one of the biggest spenders in the Premier League for the second summer running.
But there are still a couple of potential incoming deals that could be completed before transfer deadline day on Thursday, September 1. And if those deals come to fruition it would take Arsenal's spending up to the £200million mark for the summer, and potentially give Mikel Arteta the squad he desires for a challenge for the Champions League places.

Arsenal have enjoyed a perfect start to the 2022/23 Premier League campaign, winning all three of their matches so far. They are the only team in the league with a 100% record and obviously sit top of the table.
They have some favourable looking fixtures to come too and could really put themselves in the perfect position at the top of the table before the season breaks for the World Cup in Qatar in November and December. And if Arteta gets a couple more players through the door before next week, those chances would surely only improve.
Two players Edu and Arteta have been linked with moves for are Wolves winger Pedro Neto and Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans. Signing both would certainly strengthen Arteta's options, and give the Spaniard the ability to cut some players from his squad that he no longer wants or needs.
Arsenal have held talks over a move for Neto, although Wolves are in a good negotiating position, with the player having signed a new deal last season that runs until 2027. Wolves are looking for a fee of around £50million for the Portuguese, with Arsenal reportedly willing to splash out £35million thus far.
Tielemans on the other hand will have his price tag dropped, given he has entered the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes are thought to be looking for a fee in the region of £38million now, which could see the Gunners change their stance on a move.
football.london understands that Arsenal are willing to wait to sign Tielemans on a free transfer next summer. But that could change depending on interest from other clubs this summer and that price tag dropping.
If Arsenal do splash out on both it would cost them around £88million to do so and take their spending to the £200million mark. There had been rumours of UEFA adding Arsenal to their FFP watchlist and they would undoubtedly like to balance the books with the departures of certain players, namely record signing Nicolas Pepe.
