Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko.
That's according to the Daily Mail, who say that the 25-year-old is viewed primarily as an asset to bolster the midfield but he could be utilised at left back when required. Zinchenko has spent much of his time under Pep Guardiola in defence but has operated in the middle of the park for Ukraine.
Just like they're experiencing with Zinchenko's City teammate, Gabriel Jesus, Edu and co are likely to witness competition for the Ukraine international's signature. However, signing the duo will bring a wealth of experience to a young Arsenal side. The pair have now won four Premier League titles together and adding that winning mentality to the Gunners' squad could be invaluable.

Experience isn't the only thing the City duo can offer though. A move for Zinchenko highlights Edu and Arteta's desire for versatility. The same goes for Jesus, who can operate in a central role or on the wing if required.
Although we can only judge by the reports circulating the rumour mill, it looks as though Arsenal's technical director and manager have dropped a hint about their transfer plan for the summer, with that hint being that they're looking to sign players who aren't confined to one position.
Another is Bologna full-back, Aaron Hickey. football.london understands that the Scottish left-back is one name that has caught the Gunners' attention. Whilst he's still only 19, Hickey is renowned for being two-footed and he's able to play on either defensive flank.
With Arsenal's injury issues evident, especially at full-back and in the midfield, covering multiple positions in as few signings as possible is clearly part of Edu and Arteta's thinking. Fans will now just be hoping that they can get some of these deals over the line.
