Edson Alvarez bid, Rafael Leao move, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea transfer deadline day

The final hours of the transfer window are upon us and as is so often the case, deadline day is set to be a manic one for Chelsea. Incomings, outgoings and all manner of rumours in between are set for Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel.

The window will close at 11pm BST on Thursday, albeit with the usual deal sheet drama to come across the Premier League. The Blues have already landed Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana, who will all be challenging for the first team and there's certainly potential that more could be added to those ranks in the final hours.

Edson Alvarez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Rafael Leao are all linked to arriving at Stamford Bridge, with the potential for Marcos Alonso to head in the opposite direction to Camp Nou if a deal can be done for Aubameyang. There is a whole host of players outside of the first team squad who could depart today, with the likes of Kenedy and Michy Batshuayi still at the club, whereas Ross Barkley has already seen his contract ended. Billy Gilmour could also still leave the club.

The development squad could also see players leave, with the Xavier Mbuyamba a name linked with a permanent move, while the likes of Jayden Wareham and Dylan Williams have the potential to leave the club on loan.
