Celtic are set to submit an official offer for Paris Saint Germain midfielder Edouard Michut, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim Ange Postecoglou is keen to bring to 19-year-old to Parkhead ahead of the 2022/23 as the boss looks to bolster his squad in the middle of the park. And the Premiership Champions are now reportedly preparing an offer in the region of £2m to snap up the PSG teen.
Michut currently plays with the French U19 international side after appearing for the U16s, U17s and U18s, and has come through the PSG youth ranks. He still has a year left on his contract with the European giants after signing his first professional deal with the Paris club in 2020. He has since appeared eight times for the PSG first team across all competitions. And now he could be looking for more regular first team football with a move to Glasgow's east end.
Ange Postecoglou is in the market for a midfielder this summer. Vinicius Souza was previously linked with a move to the Hoops before putting pen to paper to join Espanyol from Lommel in Belgium.
Celtic have also recently been linked with Brazilian Fausto Vera but could be tasked with a battle for his signature after both Corinthians and Gent reportedly submitted offer in the region of €6million for the Argentinos Juniors midfielder. It means that the Parkhead boss is still on the hunt for a midfield recruit before the 2022/23 campaign kicks off, with Michut the latest star eyed up by the Aussie.
