Edinburgh Zoo is heading into Easter with an exciting range of activities planned to keep families and guests entertained.
To kick off the celebrations, volunteers at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) have been offering the zoo's resident red pandas, Kevyn and Kitty, enrichment filled with tasty treats, like apples and bamboo.
On the human side of things, visitors in April will be able to enjoy events like a delicious two-course roast dinner served in the Mansion House or exploring a Top Trumps Easter Hunt trail.
While amateur artists can take part in bestiary painting workshops with natural history artists Rebecca Jewell and Sandy Ross-Sykes.

Easter events will run on select days from Saturday 1 April until Wednesday 19 April.

The Edinburgh Zoo Easter events:
- Top Trumps Easter Hunt – This Easter, visitors are challenged to battle Edinburgh Zoo in a game of Top Trumps. Armed with a trail map of card profiles, visitors can battle against those they come across during their visit. Visitors will need to defeat at least three cards to beat the zoo and a discount can be applied against their own set of cards to enjoy at home! No advance booking is required to participate and trail maps are free with entry.
- Bestiary Workshop – Get involved with this full-day art workshop with natural history artists Rebecca Jewell and Sandy Ross-Sykes to create animal art in the modern bestiary style. Suitable for adults and teens. Tickets cost £5 plus regular zoo admission.
- Easter Weekend Lunch – Enjoy a two-course roast dinner lunch served in the Mansion House over the Easter weekend. Tickets cost Adult £50, adult member & patron £35, child £33, child member £22.
