Edinburgh Zoo has warned visitors against "tampering with signs" and messing with exhibits.
With temperatures rising ahead of the summer, and following the ending of Covid-19 restrictions, the zoo has seen increased attendance.
However, it has taken to social media to tell visitors to be careful when wandering the grounds and looking at exhibits.

Writing on Facebook, the zoo said: "Be GENTOO with our things. We're delighted to see so many enthusiastic faces but please remember that alongside respecting our team and other visitors, our wonderful exhibits and signage deserve the same treatment!
"Anyone caught tampering with signs may be left to Kevin..."
Kevin is the name of one of the penguins at the zoo who "has a lifetime ban from the penguin parade for pecking at our visitors".
Before long, dozens of people had liked the post and were leaving comments expressing their own opinions on the matter.
One wrote: "Soooo many people, both kids and adults, were touching, pulling at and leaning on the dinosaurs when I was last there even though there is a sign at every single one telling people not to touch."
A second echoed: "People were sitting and swswing all over them when we were there. Utterly disgraceful. I half expected there would be big fences have to be put up to protect them."
Head of Discovery and Learning at Edinburgh Zoo Beccy Angus said: “It’s so lovely to see so many excited people visiting Edinburgh Zoo, however, we have had several incidents where visitors have moved signs and items, taken them down or damaged exhibits with their enthusiasm!”
“We’re asking everyone to be respectful, as our team works hard to create engaging theming and signage to add layers of information to our zoos for all our visitors.
"We pick the best spots, so they are not disruptive for our amazing animals and exhibits, and easy for visitors to see and learn all about our incredible species and spaces.
“A big thank you to the 99.99% of visitors who are not doing this. Every ticket and membership helps care for our animals and protects threatened species in Scotland and around the world.”
