Edinburgh youths filmed dangerously riding on back of bus along Princes Street

Two youths have been filmed riding dangerously on the back of a bus in Edinburgh city centre.

The footage, uploaded onto TikTok, shows the pair grabbing on to the rear end of the Service number four to the Jewel last night, May 25, as the bus drove along Princes Street.

With similar footage being captured by shocked residents in the past, it remains to be an extremely reckless and dangerous re-occurring issue within the city.

The short clip shows two youths with their feet lodged into the gap and the bottom of the bus, and their hands holding on to a small gap at the top, while the bus drives through one of the city's busiest streets.

They they hop off when the bus stops, while also appearing to notice that they were being filmed by one individual in particular.

Similar clips have been shared before, with it being viewed as an amusing way to skip paying for bus fares, but it could, if caught, land you in a lot of trouble.

As the bus grinds to a halt just in front of Waverley Station, the two youths hop off without a care in the world, with the driver seemingly unaware of the incident.

The duo, both with their hoods up, can be seen wearing black and grey outfits as darkness began to fall on the capital.

The number four bus, runs from Hillend to The Jewel, travelling through areas such as Colinton, Dalry, Meadowbank and Northfield.
