Edinburgh woman slams fellow drivers on nightmare hour-long journey through city

Edinburgh’s busy roads can be chaotic at times with seemingly endless queues testing even the calmest of temperaments.

And with the current increase of petrol prices along with the cost of living crisis, sitting in traffic jams is likely to be more vexing than ever.

Now one Edinburgh driver has turned to TikTok to let off steam regarding long traffic queues after it took her nearly an hour to drive back to Portobello.

Vicky Shore uploaded the 45-second rant on Sunday after taking to the app to fume about funny video just hours earlier.

The funny video displays the question “Why can’t people drive???” with the caption linking the hashtags #mergeinturn, #cantdrive and #idiotsontheroad.

Vicky seethes: “I know I come on earlier to have a moan about the price of petrol, but its literally took me an hour to get back to Portobello because people don’t know how to f****** merge and turn onto the bypass!”

She continues: “People like that, you should stay in. Dini f****** drive, or dini drive when I’m on the road. I cannot be bothered with the traffic!”

Despite the heated outburst, it seems that Vicky managed to give viewers a laugh while appearing to be not the only one to have their patience tested.

One user commented a series of laughing face emojis before sharing: “I’m with you, my road rage is terrible. I’m constantly screaming and shouting.”

Vicky replied: “I can’t cope… or I shouldn’t drive” followed by a series of the same emojis.
