The Met Office has issued a fresh yellow weather warning for people living in East Lothian and the Borders.
According to the forecasters, there will be several downpours as well as lightning, thunder and hail in some places.
The warning, which came into force at 1pm today, will remain in place until 10pm tonight.

Taking to their website to update the public they wrote; "Showers and thunderstorms are likely to bring periods of heavy rain, lightning and hail in places this afternoon." They add that people can expect delays or cancellations to train and bus services where flooding and lightning occurs.
People are also being warned that roads could be made worse leading to dangerous driving conditions. In addition, there is a "slight chance" that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could temporarily be lost.
According to BBC Weather, Edinburgh residents can expect lightning to occur from 10pm until 11pm with a flood warning having also been put in place for the Capital.
Issuing a detailed update the Met Office concluded: "While many places in the warning area will remain dry, heavy showers and thunderstorms will develop today, becoming most frequent from mid-afternoon and lasting into the evening in places. Where these occur they are likely to produce some locally torrential rain with 20-30 mm possible in one or two hours, and will likely be accompanied by hail in a few places."

Saturday
Sunny spells and scattered showers. Cooler and fresher, with a strong southerly wind at times, perhaps coastal gales in the west. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
Bright and breezy on Sunday with scattered heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Winds easing Monday, remaining bright and showery. Wet and windy at times on Tuesday.
