As the month of February begins, Edinburgh is preparing for more wintry weather, with bands of snow on the way.
Earlier this week, Edinburgh Live reported that the city is et to be blasted by snow in the coming days despite the mild temperatures and intervals of sunshine recently. The wintry weather is shown in a map from forecasting experts, WXCharts.
According to WXCharts, Edinburgh will see up to a centimetre of snow fall every hour on Friday, February 10. Temperatures will reach highs of 9°C next week and lows of just 2°C, with moderate winds and snowfall possibly causing disruption on the roads of the capital.

The upcoming weekend is set to be full of showers and dreary weather, but the sun will return on Sunday, with highs of 8°C. Next week will see some brighter skies, but the sleet will begin on Thursday before rain continues into next weekend.
