The weather in Edinburgh is set to be a scorcher with forecasters predicting some pretty high temperatures.
Across the next week, we are set to see highs of 27C with today (August 11) being the hottest.
According to the BBC, Friday (August 12) will see highs of 26C followed by 23C on Saturday and Sunday making for a warm and dry weekend.

Then on Monday (August 15), yet more sun is predicted to shine on the capital with temperatures still staying high but lowering to 20C. However on the same day, thundershowers are also forecast.
The BBC Weather reports that whilst the chances of rain are set to remain very low throughout the week, the chances increase on this day with rain expected around 9am.
The rain is set to carry on throughout the rest of the day and into the early hours of Tuesday morning with much of the heavy rain set to fall between 3pm and 8pm.
In addition to the rain, the thunderstorm will also last a few hours with experts predicting it to last between 7pm and 10pm.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for parts of southern England due to 'extreme heat' however, at present, no warning is in place for Scotland.

Another cloudless day is expected with unbroken sunshine. Very warm to hot for most, with the hottest temperatures likely to be across the Borders, but some cooling onshore breezes. Maximum temperature 30C.
Tonight
A sunny and very warm evening. Then staying dry with clear skies overnight. Light winds. A rather warm night in towns and cities, but cooling off in sheltered rural areas. Minimum temperature 12C.
Friday:
Another dry day with sunny spells, though there is the chance of some patchy haar developing along the east coast. Very warm to hot inland. Maximum temperature 29C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
More sunshine, and very warm to hot, though cooler where haar lingers around eastern coasts. The chance of some heavy showers later Sunday and Monday.
