After some cold and wet weather, Edinburgh is expected to see bright skies and warm temperatures later this week, according to BBC Weather.
Tuesday afternoon and evening will see prolonged periods of "light rain", which will not let up until early Wednesday morning.
It will be a somewhat cool night in the city, with temperatures hovering around 7 degrees Celsius through the night.

Moving into Wednesday, the weather will begin to pick up by around 8am — with the mercury beginning to rise too.
After a couple of hours of drizzle, things will dry up and temperatures will rise throughout the morning and early afternoon to a peak of 13C.
From 5pm onwards, there are also sunny spells forecast through to 8pm, after which the sun will set.
It will be another cloudy and chilly night in Edinburgh, with lows of 5C at 5am, but the city will begin to warm on Thursday morning.
Though no sunny spells are forecast by BBC Weather, it will be a somewhat warm day — with highs of 14C expected.
Friday will see the capital continue to warm up, with temperatures peaking at 15C in the afternoon, "turning drier and brighter in the afternoon".
Looking to the weekend, the good weather looks set to continue, particularly on Saturday, when highs of 17C and sustained sunny intervals are forecast.
Sunday will be slightly cooler, but should bring some sunshine in patches.
