Edinburgh tram passengers faced delays on Friday evening after a road was closed off due to a medical emergency.
Police and paramedics scrambled outside the Garden at St Andrew Square on Friday at around 5.00pm due to a 'medical emergency'. The road was closed off as paramedics assisted.
Three police cars were spotted as officers were at the scene to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Eyewitnesses report seeing two ambulances as police tape was put in place to close the area.
Edinburgh Trams were forced to delay their services. At 5.21pm they tweeted: "Due to a medical emergency at St Andrew Square there are currently extended wait times, We are sorry for the disruption to your journey."
By 5.41pm, the operator informed passengers that service has now resumed but 'some extended wait times while we get back to a regular frequency'.
