Trams in Edinburgh are currently running a part route after a road vehicle reportedly collided with the overhead wires.
Trams are only able to run between Edinburgh Park Station and St Andrew Square on Tuesday morning while urgent repairs are carried out near the Gyle due to the incident.
Taking to Twitter to inform passengers, Edinburgh Trams said a road vehicle damaged overhead wires which means they need to isolate the power before any maintenance can take place.

They added: "A road vehicle has damaged our overhead wire near the Gyle Centre which means we need to isolate the power to make repairs. Trams will continue to run between Edinburgh Park Station and St Andrew Square. We are working as quickly as possible to resume a full service."
The team has continued to issue regular updates to avoid delays and any inconvenience to travellers. Shortly after 10am they said work is being carried out as quickly as possible.
They said: "Update: 10.17 We are working as quickly as possible to make repairs to the overhead line that has been damaged by a road vehicle. We continue to run a regular service between Edinburgh Park Station and St Andrew Square."
Ticket acceptance with Lothian Buses is currently in place for journeys to the Gyle, Gogarburn and Edinburgh Airport. No trams are currently serving the airport.
An image taken by one traveller at the Broadway Crossing near the Gyle shows one of the tram's pantograph damaged meaning it can't connect to the wires above.
The eye witness commented: "Pantograph completely mangled. Overhead cable at Broadway Crossing damaged!"
