Edinburgh train users are advised not to travel at Easter or on the May Bank Holiday due to major works on the West Coast Main Line.
All services between London Euston and Scotland will be affected at the two dates and the rail operator West Coast Upgrades are advising that travellers avoid journeys on the train.
The extensive track upgrades on the train line will mean bus replacements and longer, busier journeys over Easter (15-18 April) and early May Bank Holiday (30 April - 2 May).
There are also works and delays expected this month, on two dates.

Edinburgh train users are asked to please travel either side of the dates when using affected services.
A spokesperson for West Coast Upgrades explained more.
They said: “West Coast upgrades are a major programme of improvement works to key sections of the West Coast Main Line, connecting London, the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland, and serving over 49 central stations along the way.
“Once work is completed, it will help bring passengers quicker journeys on more trains with more seats than ever.
“For now, it does mean there will be ongoing track closures. While the major works are necessary, any delays to your journey needn’t be, just by planning ahead.”
The works are already underway and Edinburgh locals are also asked to check their journeys on March 13 and 20, with part of the mainline due to be completely blocked.
