A huge Royal Navy warship is set to arrive in Edinburgh for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next month.
With celebrations taking place around the country, the HMS Albion will be sailing into Leith Docks for the day, and locals will get the chance to get on board.
According to the Royal Navy, the vessel is their largest amphibious warship, meaning it is employed to land and support ground forces on enemy territory.

On June 4, the ship will arrive for the day, with a selection of free tickets available to the public who have been invited down for a snoop around.
Running from 10am-3pm, guests will be taken on a tour of the ship and given an insight into how things run every day.

However, those who take up the offer will need to provide photo ID if they are an adult when they arrive at the ship, with pushchairs unable to be taken on board.
Although photos are permitted and welcomed, bag searches and airport security style checks will be in place as it is a "working warship."
Those with reduced mobility have also been warned they may not be able to access all areas of the tour.
